regina bediako
writer, producer, editor, showrunner & professional listener
I’ve shaped short and longform narratives for broadcast news, public radio, and Fortune 500 companies. Whether it’s producing a segment about throat singing in the Arctic Circle or embarking on a yearlong reporting assignment in my hometown, I’m up for just about any opportunity that lets me expand an audience’s worldview.

I’m a storytelling nerd who has been in the business of crafting stories in print, video, and audio for (almost!) 20 years.

Mind Your Own with Lupita Nyong’o
Mind Your Own with Lupita Nyong’o is a Webby and Signal Award-winning storytelling podcast navigating what it means to belong, all from an African perspective. Hosted by Lupita, the podcast shares true, colorful tales from the Oscar-winning actor’s search for home, then passes the mic to real people finding their way in new worlds of every kind. Over a dozen musicians from the African diaspora composed original scores for each story, creating a cinematic listening experience.

Our host Lupita + Director of Production/fellow Showrunner Marisa Dodge
We were lucky that Lupita chose Snap Studios as the partner to help bring her vision to life. I worked closely with Lupita to create the show’s identity, incorporating detailed feedback from her and our producing partner Warner Music Group, leading host tracking sessions, producing host stories, writing host scripts, writing promotional materials, advising on scoring, leading mix/master sessions, and managing an international team of story scouts, producers, editors, engineers, composers, translators, voice actors, executive producers, and one seriously cool music supervisor. It definitely took a village!
